Winter Casting Days with Peter Morse MCCI and Justin Duggan CCI.



Over the last few winters Peter Morse and I have conducted a series of very well received casting days. These events have varied from complete beginner level to advanced casters and all attendants certainly leave better casters than they were when they arrived. We teach what you want and need to learn, better loop control, double hauling, curves and mends and even how to analyse your own cast or your mate’s cast. Correcting ingrained casting faults and expanding existing casting levels leads to better and more enjoyable casting which leads to more efficient and effective fishing.

Where – Penrith International Regatta centre, enter through Gate A and go across the bridge to the car park where you will see us setting up.

Starting time – 8-30am for rig up and coffee.

Finish time – 4-30pm

Cost - $150

27th June – Basics where we focus on the 5 essentials for good casting. Everyone needs to learn these, leave one out and your casting suffers, get them all right and you’ll throw perfect loops every time. Brilliant diagnostic lesson for teaching yourself. Roll casts, pick up and lay down casts, false casting, loop control.

31st July - Applying the 5 essentials to more advanced casting. Curves, mends, distance, double hauling, what ever you want/need to do.
