Eye Fly By Grant Marshall
The EYES fly is tied to imitate the anchovy/ white bait when they are very small - I tie eyes flies from say 2 - 5 cms. It really is just a small surf candy.
Before the light cured acrylics we used silicone rather than epoxy- as its easier to work with (except the long dry time), but epoxy work fine if you know how to handle it.

Squid Fly By Stuart Tremain
This fly is my variation on some of the different squid flies that I have used over the years. I have stuck with all white but use your imagination and chose a colour scheme that works for you.

Splicing a loop on the front of a flyline By Justin Duggan
This is a secure and easy method of placing a braided loop on the front of a flyline.
Braided loops allow for quick leader changes and are very strong.
They are however less abrasion resistant than using a nail knot.

Splicing a loop on the back of a flyline By Justin Duggan
This is a secure way of placing a loop on the rear of a flyline. This is also the most secure method I know.

Making a secure loop in Braided Backing/Rio Slickshooter By Justin Duggan
This is a method of putting a loop to loop connector in 30 and 50 pound Rio Slickshooter or for putting a loop in braided backing.
I have personally tested these connections on an IGFA line testing machine and they are 100% connections.
