
2026 Winter Casting Days-
June 13th 20th and 27th
Justin will be joining good friend and Master Casting Instructor Peter Morse again for a series of Winter casting days in June 2026.
This years Workshops will be Beginner , intermediate and advanced run on consecutive weekends with Beginners on June 13th, Intermediate on June 20th and advanced on June 27th
Our focus is on Fun and Fundamentals. Its all about learning in a fun and low pressure atmosphere.
These days will also incorporate many of the different elements of fly casting and fly fishing - importantly we are focused on teaching you how to become a better fly caster by enabling you to grasp the foundations through easy to understand explanations and demonstrations.
Peter Morse is a Master Fly Casting Instructor with Fly Fishers International who has been teaching fly casting professionally for more than 20 years. He has fly fished the world and caught on fly more than 300 different species on fly - everything from Marlin to Mullet. Peter was also the presenter on SBS Televisions number one rated program Wildfish and is a renowned professional speaker and presenter in the fishing world.
Justin Duggan is a very well known Sydney based saltwater fly fishing guide, and is also a noted certified fly casting instructor with decades of practical teaching experience. Justin is also a renowned speaker and former Radio Host.
Our experience in the wide world of fly fishing means we can deal with all levels of instruction.

Where - The International Regatta Centre in Penrith. Its less than an hour from almost anywhere in Sydney – straight down the M4 – a map and instructions will be provided when you book.
Cost - $200 per person

Our day begins with an 8:30am arrival, and an 9am start. We finish at 4-00pm.
What to bring - Hat and sunnies, (sunglasses are ESSENTIAL) lunch, snacks, water, and a chair. Appropriate clothing for the weather forecast. Bring a notebook as well. please bring a fly rod set-up if you have one. 6wt and 7wt are ideal as you can cast them all day but bring whatever you have if you own one. If you are a beginner and have some fly fishing tackle please bring it. If you have no gear we can supply some set ups.
